The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Asian Society of International Law (AsianSIL) are pleased to invite presentation proposals for the 3rd NUS-AsianSIL Young Scholars Workshop 2012. The Workshop will be held at NUS in Singapore from February 23-24, 2012. Papers should focus on Asian approaches to international law. Participation will be contingent on producing a draft paper by December. Presenters will have their reasonable expenses covered.

The deadline for proposals is September 16, 2011.
Papers should focus on Asian approaches to international law. Suggested subject areas include:
- History and Theory of International Law
- Law of Armed Conflict (IHL)
- International Organizations
- Dispute Settlement
- Law of the Sea
- Law of Environment
- Human Rights
- International Criminal Law
- Law of Development
- International Economic Law
- Private International Law (Conflict of Laws)
Those selected to participate in the workshop will be notified by October 7, 2011.
Participation will be contingent on producing a draft paper of roughly 8,000 words by December 30, 2011.
