The Frank Jennings Internship in Human Rights provides an opportunity for law students and entry-level attorneys to work for 1 year at Front Line, an international NGO headquartered in Dublin, and at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. The internship honors a human rights advocate who served as Front Line's former Head of Research. The intern will first work and receive human rights training in Dublin for 3 months. Then, the intern will work at OHCHR in Geneva for 6 months, assisting with reports, appeals, research, and other duties, as assigned. During the remaining 3 months, the intern returns to Dublin to support further the mission of Front Line in international human rights advocacy.

A stipend of €1050 per month in Dublin and €1350 per month in Geneva is provided.

Application Guidelines and Deadlines

Priority will be given to applicants with a background or prior work experience in human rights, international law, and the UN system. Prior experience working with human rights in Ireland will also be considered.

Applicants MUST be fluent in English and Spanish, no exceptions. He/she must also be computer savvy, well-organized, motivated, and committed to human rights.
