UNDP China Internship Programme

Interns specialize in the areas of democratic governance, sustainable environmental policies, poverty reduction, and other activities related to sustainable human development. Under the program, interns will work in UNDP Office and/or UNDP project office assisting in e.g. program management, organization of workshop/seminar and preparation of briefing and information materials paper on development subjects. Center for National Security Studies - Summer Law Clerk

Must be a law student or recent graduate with a demonstrated record of commitment to the public interest, excellent writing and research skills, and a particular interest in issues such as wiretapping, detention, immigration and related issues affecting civil liberties in the name of national security. Royal Thai Embassy - Summer Internship

Interns conduct research on political, legal, economic, social issues. Delegation of the European Commission to the USA

Interns assist with researching the implementation of laws and new regulations issued by the various U.S. departments; finding references in the  U.S. Code and the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations; obtaining and filing documents regarding US antidumping and countervailing duty investigations — including documents needed in WTO investigations and only available from the US Department of Commerce or the US Trade Representative's Office; updating the list of US steel investigations; preparing reports on textile, joint ventures and antitrust notices; preparing monthly trade data for the EU-25 Member States; and updating the lists of US Government staff changes. It may also be necessary to assist other sections of the Delegation by attending congressional hearings and reporting on these. A working knowledge of French is useful, but not essential.

ICTJ Liberia Rule of Law Program Internship

International Center for Transitional Justice Internship

The ICTJ is a human rights organization that provides assistance and information to countries in transition struggling to confront a period of past abuse. Depending on the context, the Center may assist with initiatives to prosecute perpetrators, establish the truth about past crimes, provide reparations to victims, or implement reforms to prevent further abuses in the future. The Center provides direct, in-country technical assistance, undertakes in-depth research projects, offers capacity building and training for local actors, and provides information and policy input to international policymakers. ICTJ interns are generally involved in substantive work, including research, monitoring country developments, and otherwise assisting program staff. A small portion of an intern's time may be required for administrative support.
