The International Political Science Association (IPSA) will co-host its latest international conference with the newly formed Luxembourg Political Science Association (Luxpol) and the European Governance program at the University of Luxembourg. The title of the bilingual conference is “Is There a European Model of Governance?” and the general theme is European Governance. The conference will be held 18-20 March 2010 at the Jean Monnet Building, European Commission. Scholars and researchers are invited to submit paper proposals and abstracts in English or French for all twelve panels.
Topics include:
- European, National and Regional Parliaments and EU Law-making;
- EU Enlargement and its Social and Political Consequences for the New Member States and candidate countries;
- Institutional Systems Theory: Theoretical Perspectives;
- Human Rights in Europe in a Comparative Perspective;
- European Electronic Governance and its Results on Decision-making in a Comparative Perspective; and
- The Renewal of Research on Europeanization Processes: Interdisciplinary Perspective.
The deadline for proposal submissions is 30 October 2009.
